The orphanage is currently home to 60 children from Plaisance along with over 140 children from Carries with the nonprofit Mission of Grace. These children fled the violence in their city and have been staying in Plaisance since October 2023. We constructed a new building to accomodate this influx of new children. Raising these children is an honor and a big responsibility that is not taken lightly. They are loved and cared for by our excellent nannies.

We’d like to create a more personal experience for both our children and their sponsors. We believe connection is what our kids need most, more than money and more than gifts. They need to know that someone cares. The children at our orphanage come from a multitude of backgrounds, some with at least one parent or other family members. And so, we’re looking for people who care:  supportive, champions to encourage and connect with our kids. These are the kinds of people we intend to involve in our child sponsorship program.

Sponsorship is a big responsibility and a much-needed partnership. We depend on monthly sponsors to provide the funding to run the orphanage. Sponsorship for a child at the orphanage is $50 a month.
